Youth Services
After School
Over 60 youth from Dayton Public Schools in a well- structured program featuring
one-on-one tutoring, sports, field trips, gardening and community awareness
activi- ties. Youth are provided a snack daily. Our well trained staff are assisted
by area college students to provide a wholesome environment for children.
Harambee
A rights of passage and self -esteem building program for young men ages 12-18.
Queens
A Rights of passage for young ladies ages 12-18 years of age.
Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts
Boys and girls ages 5- 13 learn the importance of pride in community while they
earn badges as prescribed by the scout council. This program has been active
for over 5 years.
Summer Camp
A summer activity program for youth ages 5-13. Camp begins at the end of the
school year and runs the entire summer from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. A well structured
program with planned weekly field trips. Fee required.
Leadership Development Institute
A youth leadership training program designed to build leadership skills through
a structured program for youth ages 12-17. It features a one week intensive
training in a rustic setting.
